This time we want to apprise you about the procedures to request a stay overnight published by the FBO at MMSD. These new procedures will start December 18th, 2020, and until January 9th. The purpose is to manage efficiently the space on the ramp, based on the number of operations of the past months and the last year's operations.
Here are the steps to follow (just FYI)
- An email requesting overnight must be sent in advance to the FBO, they will assign the space, considering first-come requests. If there is no space available, they will notify you immediately.
- Should the overnight spots are sold out, a NOTAM to restrict overnight stays, will be issued. In that case, the nearest airports where will be possible to stay overnight are MMSL and MMLP.
- Cancellations must be sent with 48 hours advance notice.
The intention is to give you an insight into the high season and help you to plan your trips. Our team will take care of requesting the overnight stay directly to the FBO so you don't have to.
Our CCO & MMSD teams will do their best to grant all the trips we receive can get an overnight spot. We will appreciate your cooperation in sharing your trips with time in advance as you may, if we work together, this won't affect your trip.
