Mexico's Health & Tourism Ministry's have worked together to address the situation of Hospitality industry. As a result of this collaboration, the epidemiological team developed this Protocol for Guest Care.
Which among other points, specifies:
- No hotel, accommodation platform or online travel agency may take reservations during the contingency period.
- States and national associations will determine which establishments will continue to operate.
- They may receive business travelers as long as they demonstrate their business reasons.
Following this instruction local state governments instructed Hotels to shut down and ask all guests to leave and all reservations to cancel.

This instruction it is expected to spread to other tourist areas throughout the country, especially those which have already closed their beaches to public during this emergency.
Other locations like, MMUN, MMCZ, MMVR have not yet made any announcement about following suit, but the hotels are closing due low occupancy, so get a room for crew could be difficult.
It is VERY important to keep in mind that Airports at MMSD, MMSL, MMLP, MMLT, MMAA, MMZH, MMPR, MMGL, MMMZ, MMCL & MMLM are still operating and accepting quick turn flights. An overnight would not be a problem should the crew/passengers have alternate accommodation arrangements such as a private home, condo,etc.
